Cheel Family Miniatures is lucky enough to have our gorgeous mini barn! This beautiful "Old West" inspired barn was built specifically with minis in mind and it is just perfect for the little horses to call home.
The barn is complete with hay/shaving storage, running water, hydro and can hold up to 3 minis which is perfect for us. In the winter the barn stays nice and warm even with just one horse inside and during the summer months the half doors can be opened to allow a nice breeze to run through. Each horse also has the option of having a mounted fan in there stall for those sticky days during the summer.
A mini corral was also built to surround the barn complete with mini overhang, water tank and two strands of electric fence to keep our mini friends contained and safe!! Horses are normally fed breakfast in this enclosure and are later moved to there grass field in the summer and it also serves as a large play field in the winter months so they can stretch there legs!!
If need be CFM also has access to a larger facility which is right behind our house. We plan on breeding for quality not quantity and we feel responsible for every horse that we breed. Horses who do not find homes or for some reason cannot stay at the homes we have found for them are welcome to come live with us and be pampered and spoiled until it is possible to place them in a new loving home. We have lots of extra space for the little horses if we ever needed it and we feel very confident in being able to always have a home for each of our horses.
